This study aims is to assess the feasibility of pharmacy-based COVID-19 testing in Kenya, including willingness to pay; service uptake; cost of the service; provider and client views and experiences; and the utility of digital technology in ensuring test accuracy, supporting linkage to care, reporting of cases to the ministry of health, and facilitating payment of provider incentives. The study is funded by the Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND) and is a collaboration with Maisha Meds, a health technology and data analytics organization, and the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics.
